Giving back is core to our culture at Salesforce. Through our employee volunteering & giving and strategic programs, we bring community and opportunity together.
Our volunteering and giving programs enable our employees to become high-impact citizen philanthropists who empower the workforce of tomorrow, harness professional skills for good, and strengthen their communities.
Salesforce employees get seven paid days of volunteer time off (VTO) each year. From volunteering at a school or virtual mentoring to supporting organizations with technical and professional expertise, employees are encouraged to use their VTO in ways that are personal to them. For more information on skills-based volunteering, click here.
Our employees maximize their impact to causes they care about through up to USD $5,000 in matching gifts annually. Employees are also eligible for special grant programs tied to volunteering and tenure milestones. For more information contact us at matching@salesforce.com
We amplify the work of the Salesforce Foundation by running strategic programs that advance education and workforce development.
We connect untapped talent to meaningful career opportunities by providing young people from diverse communities with paid work experience and on-the-job training at Salesforce. We welcome interns across the U.S. through organizations such as Year Up and Genesys Works, and host apprentices in our London and Dublin hubs through organizations such as WhiteHat, Ada, the National College for Digital Skills, and Fastrack to Information Technology. To date, we have hosted 870+ interns and apprentices.
Salesforce employees adopt schools across the globe, providing holistic support to ensure that students and teachers can succeed. Each Circled School has an executive sponsor and employee champions who design meaningful employee engagements and lead ongoing volunteer programs based on the school’s needs. To date, we have circled 120+ schools across 40+ cities and 12 countries, and our employees have volunteered 70,000+ hours.
